Customer Behavior Analyst

The Customer Behavior Analyst absolute responsibility is to provide valuable business intelligence of current and potential client purchasing trends. This data is in turn used to help improve financial performance and company success through better cost controls, pricing strategies and overall operational practices.
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
Collect and analyze cost and pricing data to identify client purchasing trends, possible inaccuracies, profit optimization opportunities and preparing executive level presentation reports used in actionable meetings. The data must be easy to understand and in the form of reports, tables, charts, or graphs.
Provide actionable recommendations factual data for opportunities that support business objectives identified through ongoing customer measurement. Within this function, you will seek out, review, and identify opportunities of business growth within our existing client accounts by strategically reviewing agreements and corresponding them to the actual business. In this discovery you will identify both the client buying behaviors and the team member product inventory obedience. Both are to be reported and assigned with deadlines.
Leverage internal learning, benchmarks, and business knowledge to provide a bigger picture context to analysis. Ask about “Dumb Data” for context.
Determine needs of customers through intense research, surveys, and focus groups. This includes identify market trends.
Perform statistical analysis of information to see areas of internal company strengths and weaknesses as well as comparison to respective industries.
Measure and communicate key performance indicators for our client responsibilities.
Analyze data as well as making identified corrections to ensure optimal accuracy and profitability. This will include reviewing data quality and removing as well as revising data to accomplish company objectives.
Conduct current customer analyses and presents to the accountable Team manager to assist in development of strategies. This includes preparing reports that will be presented to clients to review their ongoing costs and product usage data.
Continual and ongoing identification of data patterns and trends within our customer base to report for overall purchasing of products.
Bachelor’s degree in any field
Proficient in not only gathering/analyzing data but spotting trends
Curious enough to explore data with the purpose of gaining insights that can inform future strategies
Experience in product based, COGS analysis
Excellent grasp of all Microsoft 365 applications
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Aptitude in data management, analytics and reporting preparation
Ability to function in an autonomous environment—independent worker, self-directed
