Customer Service and Social Media Representative

Work Arrangement: Work from home / Hybird

Work Hours: 9AM – 6PM PST, follows Philippine holidays

The Role:

Essential Functions:

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Communicate with customers on e-commerce and social media platforms to ensure timely, accurate, and helpful customer service and engagement that facilitates DTC purchases

  • Monitor and respond to daily messages on Ebay.com, Etsy.com, Walmart.com, and info mailbox. Elevate customer concerns to Marketing Director when appropriate

  • Like, comment, and engage with qualified followers on Facebook, Instagram, and Tiktok

  • Provide timely, quality, personalized support for DTC customers

  • Maintain online chatbot Tidio Chat; utilize website backend (Shopify platform) to research orders, provide shipping information, confirm customer details, edit orders, issue refunds/adjustments as needed

  • Provide regular updates to Marketing Director on types of questions asked, problems encountered, resolutions reached

  • Co-maintain, along with in-house Office Admin, a log of customer product complaints

  • Monitor and respond to priority reviews and star ratings through Bazaarvoice Connections platform

  • Special projects: competitive research, minor SEO optimizations

Qualifications:

  • 1-year previous customer service experience preferred

  • 1-year previous experience with social media platforms and customer engagement

  • Competent in operating and communicating digitally with customers and coworkers

  • Excellent steward of confidential information

  • Baseline understanding of the principles of SEO

  • Microsoft Office Suite: PowerPoint, Word, Excel (intermediate user preferred), Outlook

  • High attention to detail

  • Excellent grasp of all Microsoft 365 applications

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Aptitude in data management, analytics and reporting preparation

  • Ability to function in an autonomous environment—independent worker, self-directed
