Sales Operation Specialist

Location: Philippines

Work Arrangement: Work from home / Hybird

Work Hours: 9 AM – 6 PM PST, follows Philippine holidays

The Role:

This Sales Operation Specialist will draw upon solid analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills to effectively partner with the online sales teams. We are looking for a great team player who has solid experience in a sales operations function or similar in eCommerce.

Essential Functions:

  • Understand and navigate product catalogs across eCommerce marketplaces like Amazon, Walmart, Target, among others
  • Own and manage catalog updates including, product discontinuation, catalog clean up, attributes updates, and information auditing
  • Ensure catalog meets best practices by retailer and has positive inventory by managing internal and external systems
  • Manage inventory with partners and 3PL’s aligned with the sales and supply chain team
  • Provide the sales team with the support necessary to ensure new products are launched in a timely manner
  • Assist account managers in product set-up with key customers including pricing, description, sizes, and other attributes
  • Prepare the spec sheets by account for new assortment and catalog launch
  • Assist in the resolution of product inquiries and issues and partner with accounting on the closing and reconciliation process
  • Handle vendor scorecard reporting and give visibility to management and lead action plan to improve operational metrics
  • Lead returns reporting and root cause analysis to improve customer service and chargebacks
  • Dispute and report chargebacks and allowances and manage the claim resolution for each online account
  • Drive the reporting process to provide accurate and timely reports to the sales, customer service, and supply chain teams and address specific questions in an effective manner
  • Respond to customer reviews and provide insights to the sales and supply chain team
  • Manage product or listings technical issues and ticket resolutions with online partners
  • Work closely with the sales team to identify the opportunities, develop an action plan, monitor execution, and report outperformance
  • Perform ad-hoc tasks as needed by the business

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in the field preferred
  • Able to follow procedures and step-by-step processes that must be taken to complete a task
  • Able to adapt and adjust to multiple demands, shifting priorities, ambiguity, and rapid change
  • Experience in e-commerce highly recommended
  • Able to lead the administration of sales systems, including Salesforce, 3rd party software providers, and in-house systems
  • Must have strong analytics and reporting expertise
  • Must obsess over data accuracy
  • Must be agile, responsive, organized, detail-oriented, and operationally focused
  • Highly proficient with Google Suite and MS Office (Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Able to work cross-functionally with all areas of the business
  • Must have a clear understanding of the enterprise sales process
  • Experience managing online platforms like Wayfair, Overstock, Amazon, others
  • Experience in a multi-client environment
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to function in an autonomous environment—independent worker, self-directed
