Remote Support Technician

Location: Philippines
Work Arrangement: Work from home
Work Hours:
7 AM – 4 PM Mountain Standard Time, follows Philippine holidays

The Role:

The Remote Support Technician will work remotely providing phone support, chat, and email support. He/She would have worked in a similar work environment, have experience in customer service, and possess excellent customer relationship skills.  

Essential Functions:

  • Troubleshoot and resolve a wide range of issues from application support to complex server and infrastructure issues 
  • Communicate with customers and help resolve their issues while building an excellent relationship with them 


  • A Bachelor’s degree in the related field 
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in IT 
  • Experience in networking, OS X, all Windows platforms, and Apple IOS 
  • Experience working with a PSA such as Connectwise Manage and RMM tools are a plus 
  • Experience in a multi-client environment and a managed services company is a plus. 
  • Comprehensive understanding of Microsoft Windows Operating Systems, Windows Server, Active Directory, and Group Policy 
  • Manage switches/VLANs, Firewall and Network Management, and VoIP phone systems 
  • Understanding and Working Knowledge of DNS 
  • Strong computer aptitude, which includes expertise with Microsoft 365 applications 
  • Strong organization, oral and written communication skills 
  • Analytical skills with strong attention to detail 
  • Aptitude in data management, analytics, reporting preparation 
  • Ability to function in an autonomous environment—independent worker, self-directed
