Events Coordinator

Location: Philippines
Work Arrangement: Work from home 
Work Hours:
8 AM – 5 PM CST follows Philippine holidays

The Role:

The Events Coordinator would be responsible for performing various organizational support, such as schedule planning, logistics, and events management. This role would also assist in an accounting capacity through bookkeeping and invoice/reimbursement processing. 

Essential Functions:

  • Set schedules and plan retreats  
  • Determine dates for activities 
  • Handle travel logistics and restaurant reservations 
  • Research and compare accommodation pricing  
  • Organize team-building activities 
  • Perform light accounting and bookkeeping 
  • Process reimbursements and invoices 
  • Manage outbound marketing email automation 
  • Create base sales proposals 
  • Take down notes during calls 

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in the related field 
  • Experience with basic accounting and bookkeeping 
  • 1-2 years of experience in using Quickbooks or similar accounting tool 
  • Experience in marketing, writing, research and event planning a plus 
  • Experience in a multi-client environment 
  • Strong computer aptitude, which includes expertise with Microsoft 365 applications 
  • Strong organization, oral and written communication skills 
  • Analytical skills with particular attention to detail 
  • Aptitude in data management, analytics, reporting preparation 
  • Ability to function in an autonomous environment—independent worker, self-directed
